Roman Chamomile

A sacred flower in Ancient Egypt, Roman Chamomile is renowned for its soothing, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties. The plant is used for culinary, medicinal, and cosmetic purposes. It differs from German Chamomile in its pompon shape, its sweeter, fruitier scent, and the light color of its Essential Oil, mainly used in aromatherapy and fine perfumery. It is a key ingredient in Gucci's "Mémoire d'une Odeur", a perfume made entirely with the cooperative's Essential Oil. As Piedmont is an important production area, we work with partners producers in Italy to be able to offer both origins.
