Tarragon is a plant native to Central Asia, cultivated for its aromatic leaves used as a condiment. Its harvest takes place in June. Tarragon Essential Oil is used in perfumery. In aromatherapy, it is primarily used for its digestive tonic properties, its anti-allergic and antiviral benefits, as well as its relaxing and soothing effects. Its Latin name "Dracunculus," meaning little dragon, comes from the legend that it could cure snake bites.
