Did you know?

Native to the Mediterranean basin, Oregano is an essential aromatic herb in Mediterranean cuisine. Its Essential Oil is also used in perfumery for its phenolic note, and in aromatherapy for its anti-infectious, immunostimulant, energizing and comforting properties. Rich in antioxidants and carvacrol, it has anti-parasitic properties and is also used in animal nutrition. Legend has it that Oregano was created by Venus to heal wounds caused by Cupid's arrows, making it an aphrodisiac in antiquity, whose name means "mountain love".
